Simple as it may appear, the HMS Lady is an example of the perfection towards which Arnold & Son strives. At first glance, it is clearly a scaled-down version of the HMS1 designed for a slender female wrist. On further inspection, however, it turns out that the proportions are also identical because the small seconds display is in precisely the correct position relative to all the other features on the dial. The name is a reference to the hour, minute and small second hands found on the satin-finished, silver-plated dial. With its double-stepped bezel and lugs, the 34-mm 18-carat rose gold case (with or without diamonds) houses an ultra-slim A&S1101 mechanical movement finished to perfection with blued screws and a hand-engraved English style floral motif: a fitting addition to the A&S Royal Collection.
